Janine Underhill applies a Fine Art Degree and 16 years of experiential education, management, international event coordination to her current role as a Graphic Recorder, Researcher and Illustrator. She works with groups to help them do their best thinking and planning by bringing vivid imagery and big-picture thinking to a group process.

Prior to co-founding Alchemy, Janine served as a professional business guide, leading river trips throughout the western world and the Himalayas. She also has background in experiential education that includes programming with inner city youth groups, adult populations and specialized outdoor education programs. She continued her work in the outdoor field through retail, working as a buyer, merchandiser, and Advertising Director. She continued in this field as a retail manager for Patagonia.
