Development is a key ingredient to a leaders’ ability to perform brilliantly in an executive role. We focus on building management, delegation, systems thinking and self-awareness skills while supporting the executive’s “readiness” for the next position.
Knowing the difference between leading and managing will catapult a true leader to greatness. Our attention is directed toward the type of leader the person wants to be and frankly needs to be to run their organization effectively for the long-term. This coaching is typically done at the C-level and includes 360 assessments and conversations surrounding leadership potential and attributes like integrity, vision, passion, judgment and emotional intelligence.
Middle managers generally ache for a chance to receive coaching to accelerate their development and move up the proverbial “ladder”. The focus here is on closing the gap for a leader once they have identified where the next step on the ladder is for them.
You may have heard the phrase “it’s lonely at the top”. We have found that to be true in our 15 years of coaching at the top levels in organizations. Hectic schedules and travel can pull a leader away from their top game and being at their best. With time to reflect on what matters most, they re-gain perspective and stay the course by having a professional coach to utilize as a sounding board. This type of coaching is highly interactive and often the coach and client meet weekly and often over the phone as top leaders tend to travel quite a bit.
